Nature Fair is an outdoor event, on school grounds, that combines nature-related exhibitions with a plant sale and then also adds crafting opportunities, vendor tables, food trucks and an overall fun time. It's open to not just our Crestwood family (staff, parents, teachers, students) but the community at large.
Nature Fair will be Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 11a - 2p at Crestwood Elementary School.

Heritage Night is a great way to celebrate Crestwood Elementary School's uniquely diverse student & parent population. Bring decor, artifacts and/or food to represent your heritage, share a cultural tradition, or just bring your family for an evening of great food and entertainment!

Although it is encouraged to get dressed up, it's perfectly fine to wear something comfortable.
This is a family friendly event so parents must accompany their children at all times. No drop off.
There will be no concessions available for purchase, so please plan accordingly.

Calling all Crestwood artists, writers, dancers, musicians, and film makers!
All Crestwood students are encouraged to participate in the annual PTA Reflections Contest. This national creative arts program encourages students from pre-K through 5th grade to express themselves by creating original works in the following categories:
VISUAL ARTS * PHOTOGRAPHY * LITERATURE * DANCE * MUSIC COMPOSITION * FILM PRODUCTION
WHERE TO START?
You will create something within the theme. This year’s theme is Accepting Imperfection Write a short artist statement explaining your ideas. Then, create a piece of art, compose a song, write a poem, take a photo, create a short film, or choreograph a dance! Be creative!

Judges will consider the interpretation of the theme, creativity, and technique. Judging will be grouped for primary (grades K-2) and intermediate (grades 3-5) entry divisions.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK
Submissions will be accepted until 4:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 (this due date will need to be honored to allow time for judging before our county due date). You can drop off your submission [with entry form attached] in the front office or submit it online using this FORM.
1. Please make sure your entry form (eng | esp) is complete, including your artist statement, and taped to the back of the entry. Please do not put student names on the work itself to allow for anonymity during judging.
2. Last (and most important step) ---> complete the digital submission: HERE.
AWARDS
All Reflections participants will be recognized at Crest Fest. Winners in each category will also receive a special award and gift card, be featured in the yearbook and have the chance to go on the state & national PTA contests! We can’t wait to see what you create!

Winterfest is Crestwood PTA's biggest family event & fundraiser in the Winter! Come to enjoy fun games with prizes, face painting, basket raffles, a silent auction and much more!
Date: Saturday, January 25, 2025 | Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Location: Crestwood Elementary School
ADMISSION & TICKETS:
Admission to Winterfest is free for all! Purchased tickets are needed to play games, participate in the cake walk and enter the basket raffles. Tickets are also used for purchases from the concession stand. Tickets are priced at 10 for $5, 24 for $10 and 50 for $20. Cash/check/credit will be accepted. Attendees will earn tokens at the different games which they can redeem for small prizes at the event.
SILENT AUCTION:
Not hosted in 2025
RAFFLE BASKETS:
At the event, make sure to stop by the raffle baskets display and drop your tickets to enter! We will have multiple, themed baskets to raffle off, including Spa & Bath, Chocolate, Family Games and much more! It only takes 1 ticket ($0.50) to enter!
DO NOT FORGET to include your name and phone number on the back of the ticket. Raffle will close at 3:30pm on Sat. Jan 25th (during Winterfest)

We are looking for *Adult* volunteers at this time to help us manage and oversee the small army of Middle School and High School student volunteers we have confirmed to work this event.

CAKE CONTEST & GIVEAWAY:
Show off your cake decorating skills (or lack thereof) at our cake giveaway & contest activity! We need about 20 cakes so please consider baking or buying a cake (and sign up your donation HERE). After cakes are judged, they will be used as cake walk prizes. Your donation is greatly appreciated!
